SPIE Power Services is seeking two experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to join our Collie Power Station team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role is based on site at Collie Power Station, approximately two hours south of Perth, WA, and involves routine inspection, maintenance, repair and installation of mechanical equipment to ensure reliability and safety.

The position offers a 42-hour week with DIDO arrangements and a local candidate preference.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance (minimum 3 years preferred)
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
• Experience in industrial, mining, or power generation environments (desirable)
• Current driver’s license
• Construction Induction (white card)
• Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights tickets

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled mechanical maintenance and repairs on plant equipment.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and components.
• Install, align, and commission mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance plans.
• Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history.
• Collaborate with other trades and departments to support operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, permits, and relevant regulations.
• Participate in shutdowns, upgrades, and improvement projects as required.
