Job summary

PLS Group in Western Australia is seeking a maintenance electrician to join our fixed plant team at the Pilgangoora operation. The role involves electrical and instrumentation maintenance within an established crew, on a FIFO roster from Perth.

You will ensure work is performed safely, recorded accurately, and aligned with statutory requirements. We value detail-oriented team players with strong safety discipline, PRONTO experience, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• WA A-Grade Electrical licence with Instrumentation and High Voltage ticket.
• Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications are essential.
• Current WA Driver’s licence and ability to pass a site medical.
• CPR and LV Rescue certifications preferred; National Police clearance may be required.
• Experience in fixed processing plant maintenance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance to the plan.
• Complete work in line with regulations and recording in PRONTO.
• Assist with electrical isolations and permit processes when needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical components and control systems, gather failure evidence.
• Conduct mechanical checks on electrical equipment; ensure spare parts are allocated.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and promote safety improvements.
• Provide feedback on continuous improvement ideas to Supervisors.
