Job summary

PLS Group is seeking a Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter to operate the Mid-Stream Demonstration Plant in the Pilbara region. You will monitor process conditions, perform routine maintenance, and work within a 12-month maximum term on a FIFO from Perth or DIDO roster.

Applicants must hold a Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Fitter), a WA C Class licence, and full working rights in Australia. Experience in mineral processing and safety systems is essential.

Qualifications

  • Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with Certificate III in Engineering.
  • Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Strong experience in mineral processing or fixed plant environments.
  • Proficiency with DCS/SCADA and downtime reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate the Mid-Stream Demonstration Plant under approved procedures.
  • Monitor and adjust process conditions to ensure targets and quality.
  • Perform routine startup/shutdown, isolations, sampling and inspections.
  • Carry out planned and corrective maintenance across fixed plant.
