Job summary

BLU by Adcorp in Bathurst invites applications for a permanent Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to keep our client's timber manufacturing plant running safely and reliably. You will perform planned and preventative maintenance on fixed plant and respond to breakdowns.

The role offers a full-time, permanent position with a competitive hourly rate of $50-$55 plus shift penalties and super, a rotating day/afternoon roster, uniform and equipment supplied, training opportunities, and relocation

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent.
• Experience maintaining equipment in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong hands-on hydraulics and pneumatics experience.
• Valid driver's licence and ability to work rotating day/afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on fixed plant.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and respond to breakdowns.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Help reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Assist with plant upgrades and new equipment installations.
• Collaborate with production staff and other trades to keep site running safely.

Job description

Our client is a well-established timber manufacturer with a busy production site in Bathurst. They're looking for experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitters to join their permanent maintenance team, keeping plant and equipment running safely and reliably.

• Permanent, full-time employment in Bathurst
• $50-$55 per hour, based on experience, plus shift penalties and super
• Monday to Friday roster, rotating weekly between day and afternoon shifts
• Uniform and equipment supplied
• Training and development opportunities
• Relocation assistance for the right candidate

About the role:
