Job summary

AirH2o pty ltd in Melbourne seeks an experienced Mechanical HVAC BIM Modeller/ Drafter to join the team. The role focuses on creating accurate BIM models and coordinated drawings for construction projects using Revit MEP, ACC, and AutoCAD.

You will prepare shop drawings, update as-built drawings, and coordinate disciplines across electrical, hydraulic, fire and structural teams while ensuring alignment with site markups and revisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in mechanical HVAC drafting or BIM modelling.
• Proven working experience with Autodesk Revit MEP (mandatory).
• Practical experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) (mandatory).
• Experience preparing mechanical HVAC as-built / as-installed drawings (mandatory).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D mechanical HVAC BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Prepare mechanical HVAC shop drawings, construction drawings and installation details.
• Produce and update as-built / as-installed drawings based on site markups and actual installation conditions.
• Use Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) to manage drawings, models, revisions and project documentation.
• Model HVAC ductwork, pipework, mechanical equipment and associated services.
• Coordinate mechanical services with electrical, hydraulic, fire and structural disciplines.
• Identify and resolve model clashes and coordination issues.
• Incorporate site changes and engineering revisions into drawings and models.
• Maintain drawing accuracy and meet project deadlines.

Mechanical HVAC BIM Modeller / Drafter – Revit & ACC

We are seeking an experienced BIM Modeller / Mechanical HVAC Drafter to join our team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate must have practical experience in mechanical HVAC drafting, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and preparing as-built drawings. We are looking for someone who understands mechanical services and can produce accurate, coordinated drawings and BIM models for construction projects.

• Proven working experience with Autodesk Revit MEP — mandatory.
• Practical experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) — mandatory.
• Previous experience preparing mechanical HVAC as-built / as-installed drawings — mandatory.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, pipework and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and site markups.
• Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.
• Experience working on commercial, industrial or multi‑storey building projects.
• Experience preparing coordinated mechanical services shop drawings.
