Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Draftsperson in Sydney to take ownership of BIM drawings and construction documentation from concept through delivery. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines and deliver high-quality Revit models for commercial HVAC projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mechanical (HVAC) Draftsperson within the building services industry.
Strong Revit/BIM proficiency including multidisciplinary coordination.
Able to independently manage drafting packages from design through to construction.
Solid understanding of Australian mechanical services standards and construction methodology.
Excellent communication and organisational skills across project teams.

Responsibilities

Produce accurate Mechanical Services drawings and Revit models for HVAC projects.
Complete BIM coordination with other disciplines and resolve clashes.
Develop coordinated shop drawings, installation drawings and as-built documentation.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers and site teams to align drawings with requirements and programmes.
Manage drafting workload across multiple projects with precision and quality.
