Ventia is hiring two permanent, full-time Mechanical Fitters for Sydney Water's Northern Region. Roles run Monday to Friday with day shifts and a base rate plus an annual increase aligned to skill profiles. A fully maintained company vehicle is provided and on-call duties offer additional pay. The team works on pumps, valves and treatment plant equipment, focusing on fault-finding, servicing and safety.

Qualifikationen

• Hold an Australian Recognised Mechanical Fitter or related trade qualification.
• Experience in water/wastewater or adjacent heavy industrial environments is preferred.
• Open Car license is required.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.

Aufgaben

• Maintenance, repairs and breakdown response on pumps, valves, generators, treatment plant equipment and other mechanical assets.
• Fault-finding and troubleshooting to get equipment back online quickly and safely.
• Planned servicing, inspections, overhauls, installations and testing.
• Work on essential infrastructure that keeps water and wastewater services running for local communities.
• Follow safe work practices and deliver quality workmanship daily.
