Job summary

Warrikal Pty is expanding its WA team and seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to support planned shutdowns, maintenance and project works across WA. The role covers fixed plant maintenance, major asset overhauls, rotating equipment and conveyor systems, with a clear path for long-term growth within a busy, high-performance team.

Applicants should hold a relevant Australian trade qualification, construction white card, working at heights, confined space and other safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in fixed plant maintenance, shutdowns and major equipment overhauls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Commitment to continual learning and skill expansion.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned shutdowns within a fixed plant environment.
• Complete preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
• Undertake precision mechanical maintenance and major asset overhauls.
• Perform asset inspections, fault finding and condition reporting.
• Install and maintain vibrating and rotating equipment.
• Complete specialised conveyor maintenance and repairs.
• Undertake mine site refurbishment and mechanical repairs.
• Read, interpret and follow engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve safety, quality and production targets.
