NEPEAN Longwall in Paget, Mackay is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for a full-time permanent position. The role focuses on assembly, overhaul, refurbishment, maintenance and repair of underground mining equipment, with significant overtime opportunities to boost earnings.

You will work in a modern workshop with a collaborative team, gaining exposure to industry-leading longwall equipment and career development within the NEPEAN Group.

Qualifications

• Australian Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualifications
• Experience within mining, heavy industry, manufacturing or industrial maintenance environments
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
• Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
• Highly regarded longwall or underground mining equipment experience
• Forklift Licence / Overhead Crane Ticket
• Current Driver's Licence

Responsabilités

• Assemble, overhaul, refurbishment, maintenance and repair of underground mining equipment and longwall components.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to deliver quality outcomes for customers in Australia’s mining industry.
