Unitywater is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to maintain and improve assets across the Sunshine Coast region, based in Maroochydore. You will support the Mechanical and Electrical Unit Leaders by implementing robust processes and systems for maintenance work.

Ideal candidates will hold a Mechanical Fitter trade qualification with a restricted electrical licence (or willingness to obtain) and be proficient with MS Outlook and maintenance management systems.

• Maintain and improve Unitywater assets servicing Sunshine Coast region.
• Assist Mechanical and Electrical Unit Leaders by implementing processes and systems for maintenance work.
• Conduct maintenance tasks safely and efficiently to meet asset performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with Unitywater policies and procedures while delivering high-quality results.

About the role:

We have a permanent full-time position on offer based out of our Maroochydore office. Servicing the Sunshine Coast region, you will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement work on Unitywater’s assets. This includes assisting the Mechanical and Electrical Unit Leaders by proactively implementing processes, procedures and systems in the delivery of maintenance work on assets.

About you:

• A strong commitment to personal and team safety.
• A strong interest in achieving great outcomes for our customers and our team.
• Experience and knowledge of mechanical maintenance trade activities (water industry experience is an advantage but not essential).
• Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.
• Restricted electrical licence or willingness to obtain
• MR Class Driver License or willingness to obtain (we’ll support you to do this).
• Proficient with MS Outlook and ability to use maintenance management systems.
