Job summary

RCR Mining Technologies is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our Welshpool Workshop team in the Perth Metropolitan area. The role focuses on maintenance of CNC lathes, mills, horizontal borers and other machining assets, plus installation of new plant and equipment and safety-focused improvements.

You will review OEM manuals, plan task sequencing, oversee apprentices, and contribute to reliability of mining equipment.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate is required.
• Experience in an industrial workshop with large equipment is required.
• Maintenance of plant equipment, stripping and overhauling to OEM specifications is required.
• Must be physically fit for heavy manual work.
• Solid commitment to safety is essential.
• Ability to integrate as a reliable, multi-skilled team member.
• High Risk Work Licences (WAH, FL & Rigging) – preferred but not mandatory.
