Job summary

2xm in Eagle Farm, Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a workshop team within an internationally recognised engineering company. You will inspect, service and overhaul rotating equipment and work across bearings, shafts and gearboxes on industrial machinery.

Applicants should have a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, plus proven fitter experience with rotating equipment and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a qualified Mechanical Fitter.
• Experience with rotating equipment, mechanical overhauls or industrial machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Mechanical Fitter – Eagle Farm, Brisbane | $48 per hour + 16% Super + Tool Allowance | International Company

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join an internationally recognised engineering company based in Eagle Farm.

Our client specialises in rotating equipment, servicing and supporting critical machinery across industries including rail, mining and heavy industry.

Working as part of an experienced workshop team, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul of rotating mechanical equipment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
