Enginova is seeking a motivated and organised Mechanical Engineer / Technologist to join our team and contribute to the design and delivery of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) and associated mechanical building services. The Mechanical Engineer / Technologist is responsible for producing and coordinating mechanical designs for residential and commercial developments from concept through to detailed design, applying sound engineering judgement to deliver efficient, code-compliant and constructible solutions, and working collaboratively with clients, consultants and other disciplines throughout all project stages.

Actively and professionally represent the organisation to clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers, with a key focus on developing strong, sustainable working relationships.
Ensure all design and business activities comply with all relevant acts, the National Construction Code, applicable Australian Standards, legal requirements, and organisational policies – code of conduct. Adhere to and set high ethical standards.
Report any safety issues identified to the manager and conform to all WHS obligations and safety requirements when performing duties, in the office and when attending project sites.
Develop and maintain effective business relationships with co-workers along with all clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
Ensure all design and business activities comply with all relevant acts, the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, organisational policies, WHS obligations, and ethical standards.
Deliver mechanical designs on time, within scope, and to Enginova’s quality standards, ensuring all outputs are reviewed and verified prior to issue.
All relationships are effective, add value and contribute to Enginova’s business objectives.
Designs and deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and to program, with nominated milestones consistently achieved.
Communication is pro‑active up, down and across the organisation and with external consultants.
All activities meet compliance, National Construction Code, Australian Standards and WHS requirements.
Engineering outputs and project documentation are completed accurately and with minimal errors or rework.
Quality of work is of a high standard and code-compliant.
