Job summary

Titan Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson to join an engineering team on an initial 6-month contract, with potential to move into a permanent position. You will produce detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models, collaborating closely with engineers to translate concepts into accurate drawings.

A minimum of 3 years' drafting/design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, and strong documentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed mechanical drawings, layouts and documentation.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and revise drawings to meet project standards and specifications.

Role Opportunity:

An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson to join an engineering team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent position. This role will suit someone with strong mechanical drafting and documentation experience who is confident producing detailed engineering drawings and models. You will be supporting technically detailed mechanical works, so accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with engineers will be key.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical drafting/design
• Strong proficiency using AutoCAD
• Experience with Revit and 3D modelling
• Strong mechanical documentation and drawing production experience
• Ability to interpret engineering information and develop detailed technical drawings
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience working within an engineering or project environment
• Exposure to hydraulic/hydrologic systems or documentation would be highly regarded

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed mechanical drawings, layouts and documentation
• Develop and update 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit
• Work closely with mechanical engineers to translate engineering concepts into accurate drawings
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Review and revise drawings in line with engineering feedback and project requirements
• Ensure drawings and models meet relevant project standards and specifications
• Support the engineering team with drafting, modelling and documentation requirements
• Manage drawing revisions and maintain accurate engineering records
