Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or Higher Degree required.
• Australian Experience: at least 1+ years in Australia OR Overseas Experience: at least 3+ years.
• Work Rights: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or holder of full work rights.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the mechanical design and development of trailers, rigid bodies and components to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare and update 3D CAD models, fabrication drawings and assembly drawings for review and approval.
• Carry out basic engineering calculations to support component selection and design decisions.
• Assist with preparing bills of materials, component specifications and other documentation.
• Support product testing and design verification by collecting measurements and preparing information for review.
• Work with production staff to identify design, fitment and assembly issues and develop solutions.
• Assist with improvements to product designs and manufacturing methods to support quality and safety.
