Job summary

Integrated Talent is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for PT6 and TPE331 platforms. Based in Queensland or South Australia, you will perform fault finding, inspections and overhauls across defence and MRO programs in a highly regulated environment.

You will work hands-on to ensure timely return-to-service of engines and components, with exposure to turboprop/ regional aircraft platforms and Defence aviation maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Aviation Technician or similar role.
• Exposure across (defence) aviation, MRO or overhaul environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding capability.
• Experience working within highly regulated aviation environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within team environments.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Candidates must currently be based within Queensland or South Australia.

Responsibilities

• Perform fault finding, inspection, repair, overhaul and return to service of aircraft and components.
• Engage in engine and component strip, inspection, testing and re‑assembly activities.
• Work within highly regulated aviation environments ensuring compliance with CASA Part 66 or equivalent.
• Support maintenance programs across defence and commercial aviation platforms.

This opportunity will suit individuals who enjoy practical hands‑on work and take pride in seeing maintenance activities through from fault finding and inspection through to repair, overhaul and return to service. Exposure may include turboprop and regional aircraft platforms, defence aviation support environments, workshop overhaul activities, component servicing, troubleshooting, testing and broader MRO functions supporting ongoing maintenance programs.
The broader work scope may include engine and component strip activities, detailed inspections, troubleshooting and defect rectification, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, workshop overhaul activities, component rebuilds, testing and support across operational environments. Highly desirable:

• Exposure to turboprop or regional aircraft environments
• Experience supporting engine maintenance, overhaul and component servicing activities
• Direct exposure to Pratt & Whitney PT6 and/or Honeywell TPE331 engine platforms would be considered highly advantageous and ideal for these opportunities
• Workshop and field maintenance exposure
• Defence and/or commercial aviation experience
• Component strip, inspection, testing and assembly capability
• CASA Part 66 qualifications or relevant aviation trade qualifications
