Job summary

BAE Systems Hawk Lead-In-Fighter program is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Engineers across Mechanical, Avionics, Structures & Armament trades in Williamtown, NSW. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in line with technical data and regulatory standards, reporting to a Team Leader.

Key requirements include Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent, Australian citizenship, and ability to obtain Defence clearance and ITAR.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills trade or equivalent is mandatory.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance and ITAR compliance is mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset are essential.
• Ability to work in high-performance team environments is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in accordance with authorised data and regulatory standards.
• Maintain hydraulic, avionics, structural, and armament systems as applicable to trades.
• Collaborate with Team Leader and other engineers to sustain and grow program capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with technical publications and certification requirements.
