Flexihire Pty Ltd is seeking a Mechanic / Trade Assistant for the Gladstone Major Repair Centre to repair and maintain the rental fleet across a busy branch. The role offers full-time hours in a hands-on environment, with workshop and field work as required.

You should bring a trade qualification in diesel fitting or a similar discipline, proven mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work safely as part of a supportive team. Overtime and a path for progression are available.

• Proven mechanical troubleshooting acumen.
• Trade Assistant - Minimum 5 years exp.
• An understanding of industrial equipment with both diesel and petrol engines.
• Adopt and comply with a high level of safe work culture within our company.
• Experience with compaction and earthmoving equipment highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills & team spirit.
• Well Presented
