Job summary

Flexihire is seeking a skilled Mechanic for our Rocklea workshop, supporting prompt service, repair and maintenance of a diverse fleet. You will join a well-established team and contribute to efficient workshop operations in SEQ.

The role involves scheduled maintenance across Earthmoving equipment, EWP’s, generators, and small petrol/diesel plants, with on-site breakdown and on-call service opportunities. A strong safety culture and customer-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical troubleshooting acumen.
• Mechanical trade qualification Cert III or equivalent in a mechanical trade.
• Upbeat nature and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
• Excellent level of customer service.
• Proven experience on industrial equipment with both diesel and petrol engines.
• Adopt and comply with a high level of safe work culture within our company.
• Forklift licence advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience with compaction and earthmoving equipment 0-25 ton desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience with EWP's & Forklifts desirable but not mandatory.
• Well presented.

Responsibilities

• Form part of the workshop team to ensure prompt service, repair and maintenance of our equipment in the Rocklea workshop.
• Scheduled Maintenance on a wide variety of equipment including Earthmoving gear, EWP's, Generators, Small petrol/diesel/electric plant.
• On Site breakdown service and On Call Service.

About the role

The role is to form part of the workshop team in our well established Rocklea Branch. You will provide support by ensuring the prompt service, repair and maintenance of our own equipment in the Rocklea workshop.
