Job summary

Kyogle Council is seeking a skilled Mechanic to service and repair a range of plant and fleet equipment in our frontline maintenance team.

You will keep the workshop running safely and efficiently, report faults, and work closely with a reliable team while leading by example with safe practices.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified MVRIC Mechanic
• Experience with earthmoving, heavy and light vehicles
• WHS Induction (White Card)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work independently and follow directions

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

Essential:

• Trade-qualified MVRIC Mechanic
• Strong experience with earthmoving, heavy & light vehicles
• WHS Induction (White Card)
• Solid communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work independently and follow directions

Desirable:

• HC licence, RMS AIS Certification, Forklift, First Aid, Confined Space tickets
• Welding skills
• Council plant operation experience
