Job summary

Meat Processing Centre in Childers and surrounds is hiring up to 50 Meat Production Workers. Start dates late Nov 2026 to Oct 2027, with assignments lasting about 9 months. Shifts across a 7-day roster, minimum 30 hours per week, 6.30am–3.30pm.

Casual Level 1 under the Meat Industry Award 2020 (MA000059). Random drug testing may occur. Tasks include processing, trimming, boning, packaging, labeling, palletising, and maintaining hygiene per food safety regulations.

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.

We have up to 50 positions available for Meat Production Workers in a Meat Processing Centre in Childers and surrounds. Work is due to start late November 2026, with various start dates until October 2027 and is expected to go for 9 months. You will be paid as a Level 1, Casual under the Meat Industry Award 2020 (MA000059). There may be an opportunity to undertake training and upskilling in this role, which can allow your remuneration to increase as per the levels in the Meat Industry Award 2020 (MA000059). This position requires the availability for shift work over a 7-day roster. Minimum of 30 hours a week, 6.30am-3.30pm though at times this may change due to the seasonal needs of the business.

Please note that random drug & alcohol testing may be conducted.
