Job summary

Vili's Bakery in South Australia is looking for experienced meat processors with strong knife skills to prepare our meat products for top quality baked goods.

You will cut, dice and mince meats to recipe specs, maintain sharp knives, follow QC standards and WHS, and support the production team to meet schedules.

Casual or full-time opportunities, with on-site parking, clothing and tools supplied, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat preparation, cutting, dicing and mincing.
• Strong knife-sharpening skills.
• Solid understanding of QC and meat processing standards.
• Safety-first mindset with WHS compliance.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Cert II or III in Meat Processing (advantageous, not essential).

Responsibilities

• Cut, dice, prepare and mince meats to recipe specs (no beef carcass breaking).
• Maintain sharp knives and safe knife-handling practices.
• Follow quality control and meat-processing standards; complete basic records.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS compliance at all times.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet schedules and minimise waste.
• Handle manual tasks safely (lifting, staging, sanitising, end-of-shift clean-down).

What you'll do

About you

• Available Monday-Friday from 6:00 am

• Experience in meat preparation, cutting, dicing and mincing

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Physically capable to meet the demands of the job

• Safety-first mindset with WHS compliance

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Cert II or III in Meat Processing (advantageous, not essential)
