Job summary

The Farm House Perth in Osborne Park is seeking a dedicated Meat Packer to join our smallgoods operation. You will help break down primals, prep and pack cuts for wholesale, and ensure goods are handled in a chilled supply chain.

You will work Monday to Friday, report to the Production Manager, and contribute to HACCP compliance while maintaining high standards of hygiene and teamwork across cultures. Experience in meat or similar industries is preferred, with opportunities for promotion and

Job description

The Farm House is a small family owned meat wholesaler and smallgoods manufacturing business established in 2010 in the Margaret River region of Western Australia. We believe in regional sourcing, ethical farming and making good, tasty products from happy animals. We are now actively seeking an agile Meat Packer for our Osborne Park Food Service premise. You'll need to love meat as much as we do and care about the entire process of delivering good food to people's tables. Working Monday to Friday you will report to the Production Manager.

Key responsibilities

supporting the breaking down of primals for both wholesale customers

Helping prepare and pack cuts of meat for wholesale sale

Maintain HACCP standards in all areas of production

Packing and shipping of meat in a cold supply chain

About you

Demonstrated experience in the meat industry or similar

A passion for gourmet and ethically sourced meats

Be Punctual, collaborative, personable and respective

Best professional work standards, presentation and personal hygiene

Ability to work in a close team environment across cultures

HACCP Training or played a key role in a HACCP team (desirable)

A grasp of profit margins (desirable)
