Job summary

Followmont Transport Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an experienced Tug Driver / Yard Operator to join our depot team. You will safely position trailers, support freight movements and help keep the depot running smoothly.

This full-time role offers consistent hours, a Monday-to-Friday AM shift, guaranteed hours and opportunities for overtime, training and career development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current MC Licence is required.
• Current LF Forklift Licence is required.
• Previous transport yard or operational experience is preferred.
• Tug driving experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail are important.
• Reliable attitude and ability to work within a team.
• Must be able to pass medical, drug & alcohol screen and criminal history check.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of loading and unloading areas using a tug.
• Coordinate trailer movements with Fleet Controllers and Operations.
• Operate a forklift to load, unload and stage freight.
• Assist with trailer preparation, load restraint, straps, gates and curtains.
• Support yard and operational activities as required.
• Relay relocation of trailers and equipment around the depot.
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures.

Followmont Transport is seeking an experienced Tug Driver / Yard Operator to join our Sydney operations team. Working closely with our Fleet Controllers and Operations team, you'll play a key role in safely positioning trailers, supporting freight movements and helping keep our depot operating efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

• Moving trailers in and out of loading and unloading areas using a tug
