Job summary

Linfox Pty Ltd in East Arm NT is seeking dedicated MC truck drivers with B-double experience for local shifts, starting around 5am, five days a week. You will deliver freight locally from East Arm and occasionally run produce freight to Katherine based on volumes.

We value safety, strong knowledge of road transport legislation, and excellent communication with customers. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career development within a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• MC Licence with B-double experience required.
• Ability to manage fatigue and maintain safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of NT roads and legislation.
• Customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight locally from East Arm starting around 5am.
• Occasional long-haul trips to Katherine as volumes dictate.
• Perform daily pre-start checks and secure loads.
• Adhere to Linfox safety standards and procedures.

What does the job look like?

Linfox is currently seeking dedicated MC truck drivers with B-double experience for our local positions based in East Arm NT. As part of these roles, you will be working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday starting at approx. 5am delivering freight locally. Occasionally you will also be required to run produce freight down to Katherine and back based on volumes. Key areas:

• Driving to the commitment of Linfox Safety Standards at all times


• Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus


• Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures


• Daily prestart checks and ensure loads are restrained appropriately


• Fatigue management in line with BFM guidelines


• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislation

Are you the one?

• Current MC Licence and experience essential


• B double experience essential


• Ability to manage fatigue


• Knowledge of major NT roads and highways along with local Darwin area


• Strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills
