1800 Drivers is seeking a skilled driver for local trailer movements, loading and delivering palletised general freight. Based at Minchinbury, you will start at 5am each day, operate a Mercedes with tautliner curtains and containers, and stay local to be home each night.

The role offers an immediate start, ongoing stability, and daily interactions with customers in a busy transport yard. MC Licence is essential and reliability is key.

Qualifications

• MC Licence required.
• Local driving experience preferred.
• Ability to read manifests/dockets accurately.
• Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic.
• Available to work 5 days a week with a 5am start.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate trailer movements and positioning for loading/unloading.
• Perform local B-Double work including containers and tautliners.
• Adhere to site procedures and safety guidelines.
• Work with yard supervisors and dock staff to ensure smooth operations.

What You Need

MC Licence (essential) Min 18mths local experience with great reserving skills Ability upstanding/read paper work, ie manifest/dockets Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Availability for 5 days a week with a 5am start Excellent safety-first focus Ability to work unsupervised Excellent reliability and punctuality Professionalism and a great attitude
