Job summary

1800 Drivers is seeking a skilled driver based at Minchinbury to manage local trailer movements and palletised freight. You’ll operate a Mercedes with tautliner curtain sides and containers, starting at 5am each day in a busy transport yard.

The role offers immediate start, a stable 5-day-per-week schedule, and the opportunity to stay local so you are home most nights. Applicants should have MC licence and strong safety and reservation skills.

Qualifications

• MC Licence is essential.
• Minimum 18 months local driving experience with good trailer/seat reserving skills.
• Ability to read manifest and dockets accurately.
• Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Availability for 5 days a week with a 5am start.
• Excellent safety-first focus and reliability.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Professionalism and a great attitude.

Responsibilities
