Job summary

Border Express Pty Ltd is seeking 3+ MC Linehaul Drivers for permanent night runs. You will operate scheduled overnight linehaul jobs, returning freight to Sydney each following night from Wetherill Park routes to Brisbane/Melbourne and other adhoc paths.

Start times range from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with strong safety and fatigue management expectations. The role offers stable, weekly pay and a supportive national team.

Qualifications

• MC Licence with minimum 2 years experience.
• BFM is required.
• DG is preferred.
• Previous linehaul and/or night driving experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Sydney–Brisbane/Melbourne corridors.

Responsibilities

• Drive scheduled overnight linehaul runs.
• Return freight to Sydney (Wetherill Park) the next night.
• Open and close trailer curtains and secure loads.
• Ensure compliance with fatigue, safety and transport regulations.
• Maintain professionalism and reliability on every shift.
• Report incidents and follow operational procedures.

Border Express is an industry leading national transport company, and we're currently seeking 3x experienced MC Linehaul Drivers to join our growing team.

If you're an experienced linehaul driver who values safety, stability, and working for a reputable company-this role is for you.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity operating a set nightly run.

Wetherill Park - Brisbane
Wetherill Park - Cranbourne
Wetherill Park - Brisbane and Melbourne (adhoc)

What you'll be doing:

You'll be responsible for completing a scheduled overnight linehaul run, returning freight back to Sydney (Wetherill Park) the following night. This role offers consistent start times and well-planned runs.

Start times: Between 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

Complete nightly linehaul runs.

Open and close trailer curtains.

Strap and unstrap freight as required.

Strap trailer floors when running empty.

Operate in line with fatigue, safety, and compliance requirements.

Maintain a high standard of professionalism and reliability.

Modern equipment and well-maintained fleet.

Strong operational support.

Weekly, reliable pay.

What we're looking for:

MC Licence (minimum 2 years experience).

BFM (required).

DG (preferred).

Previous linehaul and/or night driving experience (preferred).

Strong knowledge of Sydney-Brisbane/Melbourne corridors.

Ability to meet tight delivery schedules.

Physically capable of handling curtains and straps.

Excellent safety awareness and work ethic.

Sound knowledge of fatigue management, DG, and Chain of Responsibility.

Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and National Police Check (paid for by Border Express).
