Job summary

VCT Refrigerated Transport Pty Ltd is seeking a Linehaul Driver to operate our refrigerated fleet on weekends. You will drive trucks and trailers in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies, with responsibilities including maintaining equipment and road readiness.

The role emphasises a Multi-Combination Licence, BFM accreditation/medical (or willingness to obtain), and relevant heavy vehicle experience, including B-Double/road trains in busy locations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Multi-Combination Licence.
• BFM accreditation and BFM Driver's Medical in place or willing to obtain.
• Licence history of 5 years or more.
• Experience with refrigerated freight preferred but not essential.
• Minimum 2 years of heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Experience driving B-Double or road trains in high traffic areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate the company's trucks, trailers and equipment in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Weekend driving is required for linehaul duties.
• Maintain vehicle presentation and update records as required.

About VCT Refrigerated Transport Pty Ltd

We are an established family owned and run transport company based in North-West Victoria, servicing Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
We specialise in transporting refrigerated produce from farm gate to all domestic markets, warehouses and supermarkets.

About the Role

We are looking for Linehaul Driver's– Required to work weekends.
Required to operate the company's trucks, trailers and equipment in accordance with the regulatory requirements and the company's policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

• Multi-Combination Licence
• BFM Accredited & BFM Driver's Medical (or willing to obtain)
• 5yr Licence History
• Refrigerated Freight Experience (preferred but not essential)
• Minimum 2 years of heavy vehicle driving experience (desired)
• Experience in driving B-Double or Road Trains in high traffic locations (Melbourne, Sydney, etc)
