Job summary

LMP Project Services is seeking experienced MC, HC or HR Water Truck Operators to join our team on mine sites across the Bowen Basin. Opportunities available on a 7/7 roster with excellent rates, consistent work, and a supportive team environment.

As a Water Truck Operator, you will be responsible for dust suppression, road watering, and maintaining haul roads while following strict safety procedures and reporting hazards as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold MC/HC/HR licence (essential).
• MC/HC/HR RIIs preferred.
• Previous water truck operating on mine/site projects.
• Must have Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical.

Responsibilities

• Dust suppression and road watering operations.
• Maintain haul roads and site access roads.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and daily equipment checks.
• Operate safely in line with site procedures.
• Report hazards and defects.
• Collaborate with site teams to maintain a safe workplace.

About the Role

As a Water Truck Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Dust suppression and road watering operations
• Maintaining haul roads, work areas, and site access roads
• Pre-start inspections and daily equipment checks
• Operating safely in accordance with site procedures
• Reporting hazards and equipment defects
• Working collaboratively with site teams to maintain a safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• Current MC, HC or HR Licence (essential)
• MC, HC or HR RII
• Previous water truck operating and mine site experience on mine or civil projects
• Standard 11
• Coal Board Medical
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic
