Job summary

Ron Finemore Transport in Wangaratta is recruiting for a permanent full-time driver. The role requires rotating shifts over a 3-week cycle, with 12–14 hour days and occasional weekend work.

You will travel to loading points in Yarraville, Newport and to Melbourne or north to unload, with loads across Victoria and Southern NSW. Based in Wangaratta, you need Multi Combination and Dangerous Goods licences and should be willing to obtain SLP accreditation.

Qualifications

• Hold Multi Combination and Dangerous Goods licences.
• Willing to obtain SLP accreditation.
• Pass a national police check and pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Operate loading/unloading at Fuel Terminals and service stations across Victoria and Southern NSW.
• Perform shifts on a rotating 3‑week cycle (AM/PM and some weekends).
• Based in Wangaratta with travel to Melbourne or other loads as required.

About the role

Ron Finemore Transport has secure, long-term contracts in Victoria. The advertised role is for a permanent fulltime position based in Wangaratta. The role requires you to be available for rotating shifts across a 3-week cycle, which will include AM/PM & some weekend work. Shifts are ideally 12 hrs but can be up to 14 hrs. Your shifts will start and finish in Wangaratta. Depending on our customer requirements you will either travel south to Melbourne to load and unload or north to unload. Loading is from Fuel Terminals in Yarraville & Newport Victoria and deliveries vary from bulk unloads to service station deliveries across Victoria and Southern NSW.
