Job summary

Ron Finemore Transport Pty Limited in Wangaratta is seeking a permanent full-time driver to operate across rotating schedules. The role involves 12 to 14 hour shifts, AM/PM and occasional weekends, with work starting and finishing in Wangaratta and trips that travel to loading points in Yarraville/Newport and deliveries across Victoria and Southern NSW.

You will hold a Multi Combination and Dangerous Goods licence, with SLP accreditation or a willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Multi Combination licence and Dangerous Goods licence.
• SLP accreditation either held or willing to obtain.
• Pass a national criminal check and pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Operate long-haul trips across Victoria and Southern NSW.
• Load/unload at Fuel Terminals in Yarraville & Newport.
• Travel south to Melbourne or north to load/unload as required.
• Work 12–14 hour shifts with AM/PM and weekend rotations.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance throughout assignments.

About the role

Ron Finemore Transport has secure, long-term contracts in Victoria. The advertised role is for a permanent fulltime position based in Wangaratta. The role requires you to be available for rotating shifts across a 3-week cycle, which will include AM/PM & some weekend work. Shifts are ideally 12 hrs but can be up to 14 hrs. Your shifts will start and finish in Wangaratta. Depending on our customer requirements you will either travel south to Melbourne to load and unload or north to unload. Loading is from Fuel Terminals in Yarraville & Newport Victoria and deliveries vary from bulk unloads to service station deliveries across Victoria and Southern NSW.
