Job summary

Ron Finemore Transport is seeking experienced MC drivers for local Melbourne work and occasional changeovers to Wagga Wagga. The role includes rostered AM/PM trips, sleeping in the truck, and some weekend duties, with shuttle runs between Mulgrave, Dandenong and various customer sites around Melbourne.

Qualifications

• MC licence required and valid.
• Experience with local distribution and dock work is beneficial.
• Willingness to perform changeovers and sleep in the truck.

Responsibilities

• Perform local work around Melbourne moving trailers on/off docks and assembling trailer combinations.
• Carry out changeovers to Wagga Wagga and return with new trailers or tractor-trailer units.
• Follow AM/PM rosters, including weekend shifts and sleeping in the truck.
• Complete shuttle runs between Mulgrave/Dandenong and customer sites in Melbourne.

Job description

Ron Finemore Transport is looking for experienced MC drivers to join our team.

The driver will be required to complete local work around Melbourne and changeover trips to Wagga Wagga. Roster will include AM & PM trips, sleeping in the truck, and some weekend work.

Local Work: Moving trailers on and off dock at distribution centers, assembling trailer combinations ready for other drivers to quick hitch as well as shuttle work between Mulgrave Dandenong and various customer sites through Melbourne.

Wagga Changeovers: Drive to Wagga Wagga and collect new trailer or new truck/trailer combination and head back to Mulgrave.
