Job summary

Emerald Carrying Company (ECC) is hiring Safety-Focused MC Fuel Tanker Drivers to join the Mackay team, delivering diesel to mining sites. You’ll operate modern road trains, prioritise safety and on-time deliveries, and participate in in-house training.

We offer 5/5/5 and 7/7 rosters, 12-hour shifts, and competitive hourly rates with allowances. Previous fuel tanker experience is welcome but not essential; strong safety and presentation standards are expected.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted MC licence and Road Ranger experience.
• Strong commitment to safe driving practices and fatigue management.
• DG licence or willingness to obtain one; working rights in Australia.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical assessments and screenings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver diesel fuel to mining operations across Mackay and surrounds.
• Operate modern road trains safely and efficiently.
• Maintain safety, compliance and vehicle presentation standards.
• Engage with site procedures and delivery protocols; participate in training.
