Job summary

Carroll Group AUS is expanding and seeks local drivers with MC qualifications to operate PBS A-Double and multi-combination trucks across Gold Coast and Brisbane. Roles are long-term and based at the Berrinba depot, with ongoing, consistent work and opportunities to grow with the business.

You will be safety-focused, pass pre-employment checks, hold NHVAS experience, and maintain tight transit times for shuttle services.

Qualifications

• Must hold MC licence with at least 3 years driving experience.
• Experience with PBS A-Double combinations preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical & drug screening.
• Experience with NHVAS Mass, Maintenance & Fatigue Management with BFM certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle runs across Gold Coast and Brisbane.
• Maintain legal transit times and on-time delivery.
• Partner with shuttle team on set runs and rotating start/finish times.

What we`re looking for:

You will need to be safety focused with a sound knowledge & understanding of COR requirements and road transport legislation.

Minimum of 3 years MC driving experience with exposure to PBS A-Double combinations.

Clean driving record & ability to provide a copy of your current driving history.

Ability to undertake & pass pre-employment medical & drug screening.

Experience operating under NHVAS for Mass, Maintenance & Fatigue Management with ability to provide evidence of BFM certification.

Experience with tautliners & understanding of load restraint standards is essential.

Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain legal transit times to ensure the success of our shuttle services and local pick up & delivery schedules.

Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work as part of shuttle team, working set runs with rotating start & finish times.

What we`re offering:

All new equipment – This work will be operating new PBS A-Double combinations MAN prime movers with Krueger trailer sets.

Award rates – KM rate for all KM`s travelled and hourly rate for all loading & unloading. Local drivers are all hourly rates + overtime.

Compliant and safe scheduling operations – offering set runs with staggered start times.

Berrinba depot location with secured off street parking.
