Job summary

Team Global Express in Gladstone, QLD, is seeking a professional MC Driver to join our Barney Point depot. Based from Barney Point Depot, you will perform local and regional deliveries, ensuring freight is transported safely and on time.

Working Monday to Friday with a 6:00 AM start, overtime available, you will operate both manual and automatic MC vehicles and uphold Chain of Responsibility and road transport rules.

Qualifications

• Current MC (Multi Combination) Licence.
• Previous MC driving experience (2+ years preferred, but not essential).
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic heavy vehicles.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Understanding of load restraint and vehicle safety requirements.
• Reliable, punctual and customer focused.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete deliveries and pick-ups within scheduled timeframes.
• Conduct daily pre-start vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Restrain loads correctly using straps, chains and other approved load restraint equipment.
• Operate both manual and automatic MC vehicles.
• Follow all Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and road transport legislation.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with depot operations.
• Report hazards, near misses and incidents in accordance with Team Global Express procedures.
• Represent Team Global Express professionally while delivering outstanding customer service.
