Land Transport in Australia seeks a hands-on Depot Operator to join our regional freight team in Wagga Wagga. You will complete freight deliveries and collections, load and secure general freight, and maintain accurate records while supporting depot operations.

This role requires a current MC Heavy Vehicle Licence, physical fitness for manual handling, and a collaborative, safety-focused approach. Expect about five nights away per fortnight, with opportunities to grow within a long-standing

Qualifications

• Valid MC Heavy Vehicle Licence – essential.
• Experience in general freight transport preferred.
• Ability to perform manual handling and stay physically active.
• Willingness to assist with depot operations as required.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Complete freight deliveries and collections to regional towns along the route.
• Load, unload and secure general freight.
• Assist with depot duties and operations when required.
• Provide forklift support for loading/unloading where required.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain freight records.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle presentation.
• Comply with Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management requirements.
• Provide professional customer service at delivery and collection locations.
