Job summary

Western Freight Management seeks an experienced MC Driver to join the Orange team, based in Eastern Creek. The role covers local pickups and deliveries, as well as regional trips between Orange and Parkes, with a responsive start and a supportive, family-owned environment.

You will operate 18-speed Road Ranger gearboxes, perform pre-departure checks, secure freight, complete paperwork, and maintain vehicle presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an MC Driver.
• Competence in operating 18-speed Road Ranger gearboxes.
• Reliable, safety-focused and well presented.
• Good communication skills and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-departure checks on trucks and trailers.
• Load, secure, and deliver freight safely and efficiently.
• Complete site inductions and follow all site rules.
• Manage delivery paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and presentable truck.
• Refuel and report maintenance needs as required.
• Perform local and NSW country deliveries.
• Load restraint knowledge is a must.

MC Driver – Local & Regional (Eastern Creek Based) - READY FOR IMMEDIATE START

Location: Eastern Creek, NSW

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Over time with Penalty rates available) start times can vary

WFM is a proudly family-owned transport company operating from Eastern Creek, Orange, Parkes (NSW), Tullamarine (VIC), and Bundamba (QLD). We provide linehaul and logistics services to a range of blue-chip clients across Australia.

With a fleet of over 170 modern trucks, we’re now looking for an experienced MC Driver to join our Orange team. The role involves trailer & Truck movements between multiple sites, local pick-ups and deliveries, Trips between Orange & Parkes and covering run for drivers on leave / sick.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct pre-departure checks on trucks and trailers
• Load, secure, and deliver freight safely and efficiently
• Complete site inductions and follow all site rules
• Manage delivery paperwork and documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean and presentable truck
• Refuel and report maintenance needs as required
• Perform local and NSW country deliveries
