Withcott Seedlings is Australia’s leading commercial seedling producer, delivering seedlings nationwide. We are expanding our logistics team and seek an experienced MC Truck Driver to operate modern Mercedes-Benz Actros prime movers based at our Withcott Seedlings site.

This casual position offers flexibility with a path to permanent full-time, interstate travel, multi-drop deliveries, weekend work, and the chance to contribute to safe, efficient service within a fast-paced agricultural

Qualifications

• Current MC Driver’s Licence with experience operating B-double combinations.
• Strong knowledge of transport safety and compliance requirements.
• Good communication, organisation and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate MC trucks and trailers to deliver products to customer farms in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete multi-drop runs, including loading and unloading at each delivery point.
• Liaise with management regarding delivery schedules and timelines.
• Ensure all delivery documentation is accurate and signed by customers.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver to join our professional Logistics team, operating modern Mercedes-Benz Actros prime movers based at our Withcott Seedlings site.

We will commence in a casual capacity with the potential to transition to permanent full time, offering flexibility and long-term opportunities.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality seedlings to customers across our network. This position involves interstate travel, multi-drop deliveries, and requires flexibility, including weekend work. If you are safety-focused, reliable, and take pride in delivering great service, this is a rewarding opportunity within a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

Transport & Delivery

• Operate MC trucks and trailers to deliver products to customer farms in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete multi-drop runs, including loading and unloading at each delivery point.
• Liaise with management regarding delivery schedules and timelines.
• Ensure all delivery documentation is accurate and signed by customers.

Vehicle & Compliance

• Conduct daily pre-start checks on trucks and trailers.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with fatigue management and transport regulations.
• Maintain accurate records, including logbooks and delivery documentation.
• Work safely and efficiently while meeting operational deadlines.

Customer Service & Operations

• Provide a professional and positive customer experience at all delivery locations.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies within logistics operations.

About You

• Current MC Driver’s Licence with experience operating B-double combinations.
• Strong understanding of transport safety and compliance requirements.
• Good communication, organisation, and time management skills.
• Ability to meet delivery deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including use of mobile apps for time and logbook systems.
• Positive attitude and team-focused approach.
• Experience operating tractors with front-end forks.
• Customer-facing experience and ability to represent the company professionally.
