Qualifications

• MC licence (preferred) and experience with HR–MC vehicles.
• Experience transporting heavy mobile plant equipment.
• Strong knowledge of load restraint guidelines for heavy machinery.
• Clean driving history and ability to provide driving record.
• Willingness to pass comprehensive pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol screen and National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy vehicles (HR, HC, and MC) safely and efficiently.

Job Title: Experienced Multi-Combination Truck Driver (MC) Location: Townsville, QLD

About the Role: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and versatile Truck Driver to join our busy Townsville-based operations. In this dynamic role, you will be operating a diverse fleet of trucks ranging from Heavy Rigid (HR) up to Multi-Combination (MC).

Your routes will offer great variety, encompassing both local Townsville deliveries and regional runs across Queensland. A major focus of this role is the safe transportation, loading, and unloading of heavy mobile plant equipment, so specialised experience in this area is an absolute must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of heavy vehicles (HR, HC, and MC) safely and efficiently.
• Transport heavy mobile plant equipment and machinery to various local and regional QLD sites.
• Safely load, unload, and secure heavy machinery and oversized freight.
• Complete necessary paperwork, logbooks, and run sheets accurately.
• Perform pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations, fatigue management guidelines, and company OH&S policies.

To be successful in this role, you MUST have:

• A valid preferable MC driver’s licence (MC highly advantageous).
• Demonstrated, hands-on experience in transporting and delivering heavy mobile plant equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of load restraint guidelines for heavy machinery.
• A clean driving history (you must be able to provide a current driving record/traffic history report).
• The ability to successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including a Drug & Alcohol screen.
• A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and a safety-first mindset.
