Job summary

WorkPac Group in Brisbane is seeking an experienced MC driver to support metropolitan deliveries. You will drive an HC truck 90% of the time, perform pre-start checks, load/unload, and complete delivery paperwork while maintaining safety standards.

The role is full-time with ASAP start. You’ll work across Brisbane metro routes, collaborating with warehouses and customers, keeping accurate records and complying with road transport safety regulations.

Qualifications

• MC licence is required.
• Good knowledge of Brisbane and surrounding areas.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical/Drug & Alcohol.

Responsibilities

• HC truck driving and completing metro deliveries across Brisbane.
• Loading and unloading freight safely.
• Securing loads and ensuring freight is transported safely.
• Completing deliveries and collections throughout the day.
• Performing pre-start and vehicle safety checks.
• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining records.
• Using GPS and delivery systems to navigate metro routes.
• Communicating with customers and warehouse staff.
• Adhering to road transport, fatigue and safety requirements.
• Assisting with general freight handling as required.

Our client is an Australian transport and logistics company that has been operating since 2016, providing reliable freight solutions across the country. They specialise in national road and rail freight, linehaul services, temperature-controlled transport, warehousing and distribution, as well as specialised and urgent freight services. With a strong focus on customer service, safety and reliable delivery, they have established a national depot network connecting major cities across Australia. They are seeking a Full Time MC driver. 90% of your driving will be done in an HC truck.

Duties

• HC truck driving and completing metro deliveries across Brisbane
• Loading and unloading freight safely

• Completing multiple deliveries and collections throughout the day
• Performing pre-start and vehicle safety checks
• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
• Using GPS and delivery systems to navigate metro routes
• Communicating with customers and warehouse staff
• Following all road transport, fatigue and workplace safety requirements
• Assisting with general freight handling and manual handling as required

Requirements
