Job summary

Advanced Cranes and Rigging in Brisbane is seeking experienced HC/MC truck drivers to join the transport team at the Northgate depot. You will safely transport cranes, plant, equipment and materials to and from worksites and project locations.

This varied role includes loading and unloading, float work, internal transport, general freight and yard activities, with overtime available and opportunities to work across major projects and locations.

Qualifications

• Current HC or MC licence.
• Previous experience in a commercial driving role.
• Experience with loading and unloading plant and equipment.
• Float work, machinery transport or heavy haulage experience is highly regarded.
• Experience transporting cranes, counterweights, machinery, containers or general freight is advantageous.
• Good driving history and a strong commitment to safety.
• Good understanding of load restraint and fatigue management requirements.
• Reliable, professional and able to work well as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to different project locations, including interstate, as required.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced HC and MC Truck Drivers to join our transport team, based at our Northgate depot.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of cranes, plant, equipment and other materials to and from worksites and project locations.

This is a varied role involving loading and unloading equipment, float work, internal transport, general freight and yard activities, as well as supporting the wider operations team as required.

Overtime is available and highly likely, with opportunities to work across a range of major projects and locations.

What We’re Looking For

• Current HC or MC licence

• Previous experience in a commercial driving role

• Experience with loading and unloading plant and equipment
