Driver Hire Australia is seeking an experienced MC Container Driver for ongoing full-time work in Melbourne's Western Suburbs. You will operate modern Volvo/Scania fleet, handling hazardous and non-hazardous container movements with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role offers early starts, long-term stability, and a supportive team, with immediate start available for the right candidate. Applications from safety-focused drivers with MC, MSIC, and a solid record are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Current MC licence is required.
• DG licence preferred but not essential.
• MSIC certification is required.
• A Double experience in container transport is expected.
• Excellent driving record with strong safety focus.
• Demonstrated commitment to the role and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous containers across metropolitan Melbourne.
• Complete approximately 2 deliveries per day or up to 5 wharf trips per shift.
• Assist customers with hose connections and tank loading/unloading.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and adhere to safety procedures.
• Deliver outstanding customer service.

Excellent opportunity for experienced MC Drivers to join a leading transport company specializing in the movement of hazardous and non-hazardous containerized freight.

The Role

• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous containers throughout metropolitan Melbourne

• Complete approximately:

  • 2 customer deliveries/loads per day, or

  • Up to 5 wharf trips per shift

• Assist customers with hose connections and tank loading/unloading

• Maintain accurate paperwork and comply with all safety procedures

• Deliver outstanding customer service

Requirements
