Job summary

KS Gordon Transport Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable MC Shuttle Driver to operate an overnight express service between Mackay and Townsville. You will drive an MC-class vehicle, load and unload as needed, and keep accurate trip logs for compliance and safety.

The role requires a valid MC licence, LF forklift licence, and a clean driving record, with Australian work rights. Preference for those with 2+ years of heavy-vehicle experience and a focus on safe, customer-focused transport.

Qualifications

• Overnight express capacity experience is desirable.

KS Gordon Transport Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced MC Shuttle Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a high-capacity vehicle on an overnight express route between Mackay and Townsville (return), Queensland. The position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate an MC-class vehicle on the Mackay to Townsville route, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations

Load and unload the vehicle as required, ensuring efficient and secure transportation of goods

Maintain accurate trip logs and documentation, in compliance with company and industry standards

Show excellent time management skills to be able to complete the requirements of the role

Provide excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

Must hold a valid MC driver's licence, LF forklift licence and a clean driving record.

Candidates with the ability to operate under BFM preferred

Preference for candidates with at least 2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles, preferably in a line haul or long-distance transport role

Candidates that have operated in an overnight express capacity previously

Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

A commitment to safety and a demonstrated understanding of safe driving practices

A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment

Australian work rights are required for this position
