Job summary

Freight Link Couriers is seeking full-time B-Double MC drivers to join our Cairns depot. You will play a vital role in the efficient processing and distribution of goods within our busy logistics operation.

You will unload and load freight, prepare for dispatch, and collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries while upholding safety and environmental policies. This role requires a current MC licence, strong physical fitness, reliability, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Previous experience in freight handling or warehousing in the transport/logistics industry.
• Strong physical fitness and ability to lift and maneuver heavy items.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid MC licence.
• Commitment to safety standards and environmental regulations.
• General North Queensland linehaul experience preferred.
• Understanding fatigue management, load restraint, compliance and long‑distance transport.
• Ability to communicate road issues and work independently without direct supervision.

What you'll be doing

• Unloading and loading freight securely and safely using manual handling equipment
• Assisting with the preparation of freight for dispatch, including labelling and palletising
• Collaborating with the wider logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
• Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
• Loading and delivering small and bulk freight
• Running B-Double ex CNS to TSV and back.

What we're looking for

MC DRIVERS

• Previous experience in a freight handling or warehousing role, ideally within the transport and logistics industry
• Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy items safely
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Reliability and punctuality
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
• A valid MC licence.
• A commitment to upholding safety standards and environmental regulations
• General freight and North Queensland linehaul experience will be highly regarded.
• You should also have a strong understanding of fatigue management, load restraint, compliance, and the realities of long-distance transport.
• Need to be someone who can communicate properly with issues on the road and work independently without direct supervision.
