Job summary

The Perfect Recruit is seeking experienced MC B-double drivers for a permanent interstate role based in Sunshine West, Melbourne. You’ll operate interstate runs between Melbourne and Sydney in Kenworth K200s, mixing general freight with containers and some food-grade loads.

Typical runs include 2–3 drops with a couple of pick-ups per run, and home 1–2 times a week, returning Friday night for the weekend. You must hold an MC licence with B-double experience, Road Ranger experience, and a BFM

We're recruiting experienced MC B-double drivers for permanent interstate roles based in Sunshine West, Melbourne, with a growing regional transport company. We need versatile drivers who are happy to jump between container and general freight work, running interstate between Melbourne and Sydney in Kenworth K200s.

The work:

Interstate B-double runs, mainly between Melbourne and Sydney

Mix of general freight and containers

Usually 2–3 drops plus a couple of pick-ups per run

Customer to depot and customer to customer, so no two weeks are the same

Some food-grade freight that needs double strapping

Home 1–2 times a week, and back Friday night for the weekend

Mostly one truck, one driver

This job suits a versatile driver:

The freight and trailers change regularly. You might be on general freight one day and containers the next, so you need to be adaptable, comfortable with load restraint and happy to switch between trailer types.

What you need:

MC licence with B-double experience

Road Ranger experience. This is a must.

BFM accreditation. This is a must.

Able to pass a pre-employment medical before starting

Full Australian working rights

Preferred:

DG licence

MSIC card
