Job summary

Project Haulage Australia is seeking 2 MC Long Distance drivers to operate semi-trailers and B-double sets across Australia, including oversize loads. Immediate start, with a training program for new drivers and a stable full-time role.

You will prioritise safety, comply with regulations, and liaise with operations and clients to ensure on-time deliveries. The company maintains a modern fleet and values reliability and professionalism.

Qualifications

• MC Driver’s License is required.
• Experience with securing loads or willingness to learn.
• Use of EWD and electronic PODs.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate semi-trailers and B-double trailer sets, including over-width and over-length loads.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in top condition.
• Secure and load cargo in compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage required documentation, including EWD logbooks and delivery paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with the operations team and clients, providing updates as required.
• Adhere to all relevant road and traffic laws, maintaining a high standard of driving.
• Report any issues or incidents to management promptly.

Job Description:

We are currently chasing 2 x MC Long Distance drivers. The long distance drivers will be responsible for operating semi-trailers, B-double trailers, and transporting oversize loads Australia wide. These roles requires professional drivers with a strong understanding of road safety, compliance regulations, and the ability to handle oversized freight.

If you follow our facebook page, you know we transport alot of general freight, oversize loading, extendable work, road trains, etc.

This is hard and dirty work, but very rewarding. Every day is different.

We do have a training program for all new drivers.
