Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Victorian curriculum with ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning/high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning using data.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with families and colleagues.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.
• Ability to work in a growing team and support positive school culture.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development, implementation and evaluation.
• Undertake other classroom duties as required.
• Participate in parent meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Support data-informed teaching and feedback to students and parents.
• Supervise and train student teachers.
