Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Victorian curriculum with ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy development.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and using data to inform practice.
• Experience monitoring student learning and communicating progress to families.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Develop, implement and evaluate a curriculum area within the school.
• Undertake other classroom duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Engage in non-teaching supervisory duties as required.
