Newtown High School of the Performing Arts is seeking a qualified Mathematics teacher to deliver across Years 7–12, including extensions. The successful applicant will implement the NSW syllabus, differentiate instruction and integrate technology to support all learners.

You will contribute to a dynamic faculty and engage with students, families and colleagues to foster excellence, creativity and wellbeing.

Competenze

• Approval to teach Mathematics (Years 7–10), Mathematics (Years 11–12) and Mathematics Extension 1 and 2.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Mathematics K–10 Syllabus (2022), including the Core–Paths structure, and the Mathematics Standard, Advanced, Extension 1 and Extension 2 11–12 syllabuses (2024), with the capacity to collaboratively develop and implement differentiated teaching and assessment, including purposeful use of technology, that supports and extends students across the full range of abilities.
• Demonstrated effective classroom management and strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues and contribute collaboratively to a mathematics faculty focused on student learning, engagement and wellbeing.
